Remember

Nonfiction

Bits and pieces about my life. If you want the gossip about youthful misadventures, check out the Faceplant series. The rest will be more thoughtful and boring grown up stuff, mostly about feelings, struggles, and regrets.

The epic series from Calamities Press is back. Yep, all 60 episodes (uff da!). These are memories, most of which spotlight my stupidity or uncaring, selfish behavior. I would personally like to apologize to the victims of my douchebaggery who aren't me. Sorry. Young people are dumb, or at least they used to be. I was. Hopefully something's changed?

These will be rereleased one per week starting later this year. This is going to be a good one. I can feel it. But it's on the back burner because I'm working on a Middle-Age Mutant Ninja Turtles Bradcon round. If you don't know what that means, it's probably for the best.

Family Keeps You Honest

My friend, Tim, typeset a book for a design class called Game Theory. I included a story about how, as a boy, I thought winning at a game was a reason to deserve affection. So I cheated. You can read about where that got me.

The Cold North

During a brutal Minnesota January, I reflected on my mother and step-father living in South Carolina, and how I missed them.
