Privacy Policy
Jacob understands your concerns about information privacy and is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. He will not collect any personally identifiable information during your visit to this website unless you voluntarily submit this information.

Use of Information that You Provide
Jacob may use your personally identifiable information (name, email) gathered from registration to provide you with information about his work or his life. Jacob will never share your email with other organizations and will not provide your name to other organizations for any purpose, especially that of advertising or soliciting you for financial contributions. People and companies that do this or sell your information are creeps.

If you wish for Jacob not to contact you, simply use the contact page to tell him so. This may break his heart, which would likely invoke a strong feeling of regret on your part, but you can always contact him again later telling him you made a mistake.

Financial Information
Jacob doesn’t mess with the money numbers. All donations are through Wix and their financial services system. Their privacy statement can be found here:

Though none of this information will be shared—and their secure servers encrypt this information—please be aware that no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure and reliable, and Jacob cannot personally guarantee its absolute security.

Jacob will disclose your personal information, with or without notice, only if required to do so by law.

Cookies are alphanumeric identifiers that are transferred to your computer's hard drive through your Web browser to enable servers to recognize your browser. This site currently uses cookies, if not for your benefit, then so that Wix can try to sell usage information to Jacob about how he sucks at web traffic. Cookies may also be used to record page locations to assist with navigation and menus on this site.

As described in the Wix privacy statement, HTTPS and SSL/TLS encrypted connections are in the house. FYI, Wikipedia is a great place to look up acronyms.

Warning about Fraudulent Emails
"Phishing" is a scam designed to steal your personal information. If you receive an email that looks like it is from Jacob asking you for your personal information, do not respond. He will never request your password, user name, credit card information or other highly personal information, especially through email which is so impersonal.

This site includes links to other websites. Jacob is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of other websites.

Your Consent
By using Jacob’s website, you consent to the data practices described in this statement. Jacob may change or add to this privacy policy, so he encourages you to review it periodically.
